Downpay officially integrates with Shopify Flow to provide ways to automate workflows and actions such as partial payment collection, authorization, and other triggers.

Shopify Flow is generally available to all Shopify merchants, regardless of their plan.

Downpay and Shopify automatically add details about the purchase option in several places. This guide highlights places where this content appears, and how you can hide, modify, or add to this content.

Add Downpay in your theme

|| Confirm you are using a compatible payment gateway before adding Downpay to your theme. Note that the Downpay blocks will only appear on your storefront for products, variants, or tags for which you have created Downpay purchase options.

You will add Downpay to your theme by updating the product page. You can also update the cart page to display Downpay subtotals:

Enable a supported payment gateway

Downpay supports partial payment functionality for these payment gateways:

Shopify Payments
Stripe
Authorize.net (with certain systems)
Paypal Express
Ayden (Shopify Plus only)
Bogus Gateway (testing mode)

One of these gateways must be enabled in order to see Downpay purchase options on your storefront.

| Payment methods such as Apple Pay, Google Pay and more, will only be available for customers choosing the "Pay in full" purchase option for the product.

Downpay offers multiple ways to collect or authorize payment for the remaining balance on existing orders.
