Add Downpay to your theme

Accepted Answer

|| Create a Downpay purchase option, and enable a supported payment gateway before adding Downpay to your theme.

You will add Downpay to your theme by updating two pages:

Product Page
Cart Page

The following content blocks will be shown once Downpay is installed.

Quick Install

Enable a supported payment gateway

Downpay supports partial payment functionality for these payment gateways:

Shopify Payments
Stripe
Authorize.net
Paypal Express
Ayden (Shopify Plus only)
Bogus Gateway (testing mode)

One of these gateways must be enabled in order to see Downpay purchase options on your storefront.

| Payment methods such as Apple Pay, Google Pay and more, will only be available for customers choosing the "Pay in full" purchase option for the product.

Setting up the order management customer portal

Setup on Shopify theme editor

Shopify stores can now enable the customer order portal directly in the Shopify theme editor in the Checkout and customer accounts template.

Navigate to your Online Store and click Customize on the theme you wish to add to the portal to.
Navigate to Checkout and customer accounts using the template drop down selector found in the top center of the screen, and then select Order Status.
Select Add app block at the bottom left and choose checkout-ui made by Downpay.

Click save.
